Challenge
A major automobile manufacturer had already moved a large portion of its finance and accounting (F&A) to ACS with positive results, and wanted to transition its cost accounting functions as well. However, headcount reductions had transformed this once 38-person
department down to only five. So, instead of working with SMEs to document processes and streamline the transition, ACS had to find a way to orchestrate the transition of a business-critical accounting function while creating the processes from scratch.
