Currently Propalms Load Balancer computes a rank for each online Application server based on the available resources (by default only CPU and memory.) The new LB design will not assign a rank to each server merely based on the available resources it has; it will assign rank based on the % utilization of resources available on it. Therefore at any time the % of available resources utilized on each server, will be the same. This scheme should be used when Application servers are of different Memory and CPU specifications. It will help in even distribution of sessions across servers.
