OASIS (www.oasis-open.org) in cooperation with a number of IT industry vendor and consumer leaders, including 3M, ASG Software, CA Technologies, Cisco Systems, Citrix, EMC, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, VMware, SAP, Software AG and Symantec, among others, recently announced1 the formation of the Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications2 (TOSCA) Technical Committee to advance an open standard to facilitate Cloud portability.
